    EAEC - MVT 2012 - The 32-nd edition of the International Congress of SIAR of Automotive and Transport Engineering is at the same time the 17-th European Automotive Congress organized by EAEC, but also the third edition of the Motor Vehicle and Transportation Congress hosted from the Polytechnic University of Timișoara.

    Located in the Banat region, Timisoara is known as the most important economic, cultural, and higher education town in the west side of Romania. Tradition and spirit of the school is revealed by important realizations in domains such as mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering. The last decades show significant achievements in the automotive industry in the region.
    The congress will be accompanied by a large number of events for the participants: exhibition of products specific to the automotive industry, car components and transports, work-shops, technical visits, the general meeting of SIAR, the final stage of the international contest for the students on automotive engineering "Professor eng. Constantin GHIULAI" with the two sections:

    • „Automotive Dynamics” - the 8th edition
    • „Automotive CAD - CATIA V5” - the 5th edition.

    The 33rd edition of the International Congress of SIAR of Automotive and Transportation Engineering is at the same time the 10th „Fuel Economy, Safety and Reliability of Motor Vehicles” (ESFA in Romanian – Economicitatea, Securitatea și Fiabilitatea Autovehiculelor) Congress organized by SIAR and hosted by the Politehnica University of Bucharest.

    „Politehnica” University of Bucharest is the most important technical university in Romania. It was founded on March 24, 1818, as school of civil engineers. Starting with 1887 under the name of School of Mines, Bridges and Roads it got a new development. Reorganized in 1930 into Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest it gathered seven faculties: Civil Engineering, Electro-mechanics, Metallurgy, Industrial Chemistry, Forestry, Agronomy and Architecture.

    Another important transformation took place in 1948 when several faculties became independent as institutes.

    Starting with 1992, it became “POLITEHNICA” University of Bucharest.

    With more than 200 years of existence, "Politehnica" University of Bucharest represents one of the fundamental and prestigious institutions representing a guaranty of value and technical competence.

    The congress will be accompanied by many events for the participants: exhibition of products specific to the automotive industry, car components and transports, workshops, technical visits, the general meeting of SIAR, the final stage of the international contest for the students on automotive engineering "Professor Eng. Constantin GHIULAI" with the two sections: „Automotive Dynamics” - the 9th edition and „Automotive CAD - CATIA V5” - the 6th edition.

The Romanian Society of Automotive Engineers - SIAR organizes in the autumn of 2020 the XXXI edition of the International Congress of Automotive and Transport Engineering with the main theme "Automotive and Integrated Transport Systems - AITS 2020".

For the first time, the host of the International Congress of SIAR "AITS 2020 - AUTOMOTIVE AND INTEGRATED TRANSPORT SYSTEMS" will be the Department of Transportation within the Faculty of Mechanical, Industrial and Transport Engineering of the Technical University of Moldova, Kishinev, one of the centers of excellence in research application and fundamental in the field of engineering of motor vehicles and road transport, with a wide national and international recognition.

The active exchange of ideas, together with the mobility of the researchers, characterizes the current society and is one of the engines of development of the field of automobile engineering. The participation in the congress's work of a large number of specialists from the academic, social and economic fields in the country and abroad will allow the creation of a favorable framework for dealing with the important issues that concern the contemporary society and constitute continuous challenges.

    Dear friends and colleagues,

    The International SIAR Congress of Automobile and Transport Engineering – „Automotive and Integrated Transport Systems – AITS 2021”, organized by Technical University of Chisinau and conditioned by the special sanitary situation, has closed its doors!

    A traditional annual scientific event of SIAR – the congress benefited from the joint effort of all participants and organizers and enjoyed a well-deserved success!

    We would like to thank all the participants who shared the results of their research work, presenting in the plenary and specialized sessions interesting works that produced maximum interest.

    We thank the reviewers who analyzed the proposed papers, made recommendations, and made sure that this scientific event reached a high scientific level!

    We thank the TUM management for the unconditional, lively support, manifested since the beginning of the idea of organizing in Chisinau the congress of automotive and transport engineering "Automotive and Integrated Transport Systems"!

    The assignment of the responsibility for organizing the annual international congress of SIAR for automotive and transport engineering of the SIAR Branch of the Technical University of Moldova in Chisinau was decided by the General Meeting of the SIAR held at the University of Craiova on October 23, 2019. Within the same works, the General Assembly decided that the organization of the 2022 edition of the SIAR Congress should be assigned to the SIAR branch of the Polytechnic University of Timisoara.

    The congress will be accompanied by a series of events for academics, researchers, engineers and  specialists in the field of automotive and road transport: exhibition of products specific to the automotive and auto components industry, work-shops, technical visits, the general assembly of the SIARs members, the final stage of the international contest  for students in automotive engineering  „Professor  Constantin GHIULAI "  with the two sections "Automotive Dynamics” – the 7th edition, and "„Automotive CAD – CATIA” – the 4th edition.

    The proceedings of AITS 2021 containing the reviewed and accepted papers for presentation at AITS 2021 will be published in two volumes, as follows: a volume with IOP Publishing Ltd, UK (http://conferenceseries.iop.org/) and another one with the Publishing House of the Tehnical University of Moldova.

    The active exchange of ideas, together with the mobility of the researchers, characterizes the current society and is one of the engines of development of the field of automobile engineering. The participation in the congress's work of a large number of specialists from the academic, social and economic fields in the country and abroad will allow the creation of a favorable framework for dealing with the important issues that concern the contemporary society and constitute continuous challenges.
